It was lovely and just what I needed! We had the perfect mix of the beach, sun, sightseeing, eating great food, drinking too much wine and dancing away to Portuguese music and samba til the early hours.... thinking about it, I think I need another holiday already!<script type="text/javascript">

<a name='more'></a>On our first day we went to the beautiful Costa de Caparica, full of surfers as there were huge waves that day. Then we a chilled night out and some Samba dancing. </div>

The next day we visited Belem, not only to see the beautiful monastery and Belem Tower - and this cool raccoon dude, but to try their delicious custard tarts!<br />

I'm not much of a custard tart fan, but even I loved these. Hot and fresh with lots of cinnamon on :) We went to the famous, <a href="http://pasteisdebelem.pt/en/" target="_blank">Pasteis de Belem</a> as their Pastel de nata were renowned in Lisbon for being the best!<br />
<br />
Saturday night we went out dancing by the Santa Amaro Docas docks beneath the Abril Bridge - to cheesy music :)</div>

Our Sunday was a lot more chilled, we visited the Castel de Sao Jorge, the antiques / flea market. Feira da Ladra in the Alfama district and then to Bairro Alto for delicious food at the <a href="http://palaciochiado.pt/en/restaurantes/" target="_blank">Palacio Chiado.</a><br />

And, of course, I couldn't then not buy anything!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiTgytuN6GhwoEAFmz3yMqBfLPS1eiYudKBcoJZH1I7JsD_tLPAfTohA_lLYnTs68uc8cBYyXxlSGyB8lGx_44JcBZE9xgWE7jHnFamufnE0956ayC4IZfnZe9ZdVLhsObsiJlp8-xscRQh/s640/DSC_0985.JPG" width="800" /></div>
<div>
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div>
I picked up my usual <a href="https://uk.lush.com/products/bubble-bars/peeping-santa" target="_blank">Peeping Santa - a long time favourite</a>! Made up of Shea Butter and Bergamot. And found some new goodies! This cute and simple <a href="https://uk.lush.com/products/bath-bombs/star-dust" target="_blank">Star Dust</a> - smelling of rosewood and vanilla. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkLHplt-dPEUT9OyTYHWPgyJZlmxEqxVppIpbTS8mhwvRVSG8kc9uf2UNdc6SGAs5VOX6H-ILiSI0OAFEl66Na7rSYvQM7UDYBJkwKg3T76OLbjDSlm88XdC1uTnBRcXsHEGwvk8kInLiy/s640/DSC_0989.JPG" width="800" /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Next I tried this gorgeous, Jasmine scented <a href="https://uk.lush.com/products/christmas/mistletoe" target="_blank">bath bomb; Misletoe</a>. A new favourite for sure!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhJT-LbyASVBocUqcS7L5JsPMnYkFCh_80mOI0SSBEB5iYjo6bVL53nqvTgCTLGku2xc79cItqOMcbwqNRGNJx-NJVw44GXmdvSe4LHag1b2_dS-D7ZDugoFViWP__xGo5IBzQjilGhZVEc/s640/DSC_0991.JPG" width="800" /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
And lastly - who can resist the cuteness of a snowman with a Ziggy Stardust look! <a href="https://uk.lush.com/products/christmas/snowie" target="_blank">The Snowie bubble bar</a> - Lush's Bowie tribute. So cute and beautifully scented with grapefruit and Neroli. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Can't wait to use all of these. What have you been picking up at Lush lately?</div>

<br />
<a name='more'></a>I've wanted a Charlotte Tilbury lipstick for sooooo long and when I saw this shade announced I new I had to have it. It's a rosy, cerise red.The colour just works! I sometimes find reds too harsh and pinks too sickly. this is the perfect in between.</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9tmD0J3-kPlXLgOFC5bER-8pdE7OzvJCMKM0OxfduF4ziAhPwXhseCrEg1t39GQ4h9v4-2tXtVVpKrwL-KpHWpjs8opz3I1iDmka8N8QIZbuo1uDLA3CXa0OM-PFGENbySumB7YbLgK2_/s640/DSC_0928.JPG" width="800" /></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
It's enriched with Lipstick tree and Orchid extracts and feels nice on with a soft matte finish that isn't too drying on the lips.<br />

A few months ago I tried their Jojoba essential oil and fell in love with it. So I was really excited to try out so many new ones! I ordered <a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01H414ZVC/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B01H414ZVC&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" style="font-weight: bold;" target="_blank">Set 2 </a>(pine tree, lavender, cinammon & bergamot)<b> </b>and <b><a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01H414XXW/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B01H414XXW&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" target="_blank">Set 3</a> </b>(sweet orange, eucalyptus, sandalwood & peppermint) and the rest individually: <a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01JGO43OO/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B01JGO43OO&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" target="_blank">Tea tree</a>, <a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01JGO43OO/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B01JGO43OO&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" target="_blank">L</a><a href="http://b01jgo44ck/" target="_blank">emongrass</a>, <a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01JGO452O/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B01JGO452O&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" target="_blank">Frankincense</a> and <a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01JGO44OI/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B01JGO44OI&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" target="_blank">Rosemary</a>.<br />

<div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a>I've tried them all at least once now! And there are definitely some stand out favourites for different reasons. <b>Bergamot, Sandalwood, Lemongrass </b>and <b>Sweet Orange</b> are perfect for this time of year and creating a relaxing warming bath. I've been mixing and matching these recently for the perfect bathtime scent.</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="567.5" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgwDDeO-H8m8xmtmBsmQxMFW-EheFnX1wQHv2bJ1gnz8jO_Q6M-wcHrUP5V1BXJi-Hqcvw83mu_EmI3Oss2Er4gbObZsrFtb7K083W8TgKQvQai9_cfntBa7WklbGIJOt5CfypGfBUhsWFU/s640/DSC_0739.JPG" width="800" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<b>Eucalyptus, Cinnamon</b> and <b>Rosemary; </b>I've mixed a few drops with coconot oil and sugar to make a homemade lip scrub which I'm loving. Finally Pine tree and lavender I've mixed together a few drops in a water spray bottle for an easy room scent!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
I've been loving experimenting with the scents in different ways and plan on making a <a href="http://www.theprairiehomestead.com/2013/12/make-essential-oil-gifts.html" target="_blank">sweet orange and cinnamon coffee body scrub next</a>!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
What have you made with essential oils? What are your favourite oils?</div>

About a month ago I decided to buy a fitness tracker.... as it was my first time looking into fitness trackers and I didn't know if it would work for me I decided to find the <a href="http://www.pcadvisor.co.uk/review/activity-trackers/xiaomi-mi-band-1s-pulse-best-value-activity-tracker-review-3630972/" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">best cheap one out there</span></b></a>. I went for the <a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B019OAS9P4/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B019OAS9P4&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Xiaomi Mi Pulse 1S</span></b></a>. I've used Xiaomi before as I've ordered some phone chargers etc and I've loved their products</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>While it doesn't have the same functions as the really high end ones, for £20 it's bloody amazing! It has a sleep tracker, heart rate tracker and track steps. So it's not brilliant for all types of working out but I really like it. And when I have a bit more money I think I'll invest in a high end one.<br />
<br /></div>

<br />
Next up, my beautiful new work out pants from Primark. These are a rip -off of some I've seen by Adidas or Nike. I love the pattern and stitching and at the knee, there is a mesh area. Love them!<br />

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgJ1SDkEGSka0tayh3F-tVKaT0Q6ah-DsyRXkT36hSyouW2EwmJiuE5u1xVLaGPnsEaoCrXEHWQdGCw2O37AlyGGHydHVtp1wQEgnNU7_SNvftGcSC0CVxNNdJ899iX-SoIJ7UzA_qhuOiX/s640/DSC_0653.JPG" width="800" /></div>
<br />
Sicne then, I've become an eyebrow fan - they really do 'make' your face and if done well, make you look, younger, older, go with your make up. Whatever you feel like.<br />
<br />
Recently I've been using these three above, the <b><a href="http://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2082&awinaffid=294351&clickref=LF+Hi+impact&p=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lookfantastic.com%2Fhi-impact-brows-eye-and-brow-perfecting-palette%2F11203499.html" target="_blank">HI Impact brows</a></b>, brow perfecter, the<b><a href="http://www.boots.com/en/Rimmel-Brow-This-Way-Styling-Gel_1505287/?cm_mmc=bmm-_-google-_-PLAs-_-Boots%20Shopping%20-%20Category%20-%20Health%20and%20Pharmacy" target="_blank"> </a><a href="http://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2082&awinaffid=294351&clickref=LF+Rimmel+brow&p=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lookfantastic.com%2Frimmel-brow-this-way-eyebrow-gel-dark-brown%2F10983581.html" target="_blank">Rimmel Brow this Way gel</a></b><a href="http://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2082&awinaffid=294351&clickref=LF+Rimmel+brow&p=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lookfantastic.com%2Frimmel-brow-this-way-eyebrow-gel-dark-brown%2F10983581.html" target="_blank"> </a>and my trusty <b><a href="http://www.feelunique.com/p/The-Vintage-Cosmetic-Company-Slanted-Tweezers" target="_blank">The Vintage Cosmetic Company tweezers</a> </b>and of course <a href="http://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2082&awinaffid=294351&clickref=LF+Eucerin&p=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lookfantastic.com%2Feucerin-anti-age-hyaluron-filler-eye-cream-spf-15-uva-protection-15ml%2F11116004.html" style="font-weight: bold;" target="_blank">my favourite eye cream from Eucerin. </a><br />

One thing I've learned along with way: don't over pluck - in this case more is more. It will take ages to grow back those few hairs you've plucked and you'll have that surprised / angry look for weeks! Instead, just pluck the few over grown hairs you have at the top or bottom, use scissors to trim (carefully) and brow gel and powder / pencil to shape.<br />
<br />
What do you use for brow maintenance? Any great products to recommend?<br />

From re-organising clothes and clearing out old make up to changing up the whole look of my home decor. It was all inspired by this book: <a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0091955106/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=0091955106&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">The life changing magic of tidying by Kon mari / Marie Kondo</span></b></a><br />
<img border="0" height="497.5" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj3r64hbvj_b7SumX9uFqAaToqAvfdZn-lTtj2VCArLXtwEBPitLuOwpfomEAjWIP0XSzWjW6urBS849kLB1icntPmyXeqiJua3p5f954LwVketn8F-fMKOZoaXKiLFwK1m8UEcFtQdfzll/s640/thumbnail_Untitled-1.jpg" width="800" /><br />
<div>
The new look I envisioned is very much neutral, natural tones with splashes of copper. So wood, metal, white subway tiles and exposed brick (What I'd love in my house, unfortunately I rent a dated 1970 build at the moment so can only change decor items!),<br />
<br />
The pieces above I've fallen in love with!<br />
<b style="background-color: #666666;"><span style="color: #666666;"><br /></span></b>
<a href="http://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=6091&awinaffid=294351&clickref=Etsy+Copper+desk+lamp&p=https%3A%2F%2Fwww.etsy.com%2Fuk%2Flisting%2F463404919%2Findustrial-table-lamp-edison-desk-lamp" target="_blank"><b style="background-color: white;"><span style="color: #666666;">The copper lamp is from Etsy - you can find it here.</span></b></a><br />
<span style="color: #666666;"><br /></span>
<b><a href="http://www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0249083001.html" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">The light grey duvet cover set is from H&M home.</span></a></b><br />
<div>
<br />
Next, the metal boxes which I think are just brilliant for storage and kind of timeless - are <a href="http://www.zarahome.com/gb/bathroom/baskets/iron-box-with-jute-handles-c1089038p7381655.html" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">from Zara home</span></b></a><br />
<br />
This cute little <span style="color: #666666;"><b><a href="http://www2.hm.com/en_gb/productpage.0280298007.html" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">cup and saucer are also from H&M home</span></a> </b></span>- I love the copper spots!</div>
</div>
<div>
HM cup</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Lastly, what kind of copper fan would I be if I didn't have copper saucepans. These <a href="http://www.johnlewis.com/john-lewis-copper-cookware/p89001618" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">beauties are from John Lewis</span></b></a> and cost quite a lot - but so worth it!<br />
<br />
<br />
What are your favourite home decor pieces at the moment? What shops would you recommend?</div>

This Jojoba oil is 100% organic and perfect for skin, nails and hair.<br />
<br />
<img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiHtvJIQhAal6i-I9gvYLkgfnwtB-HwK_F66hFK3_ckRpkk__ajRQXUcYNRyY8Nq_NrASminr96gsMUNHVse6EA2hjzOafRIXuduLRkejVHlo23zEZj0TkfyrdeKg9Nd59_6WPKAir1ui6w/s640/DSC_0575.JPG" width="800" />
<br />
<br />
<a name='more'></a>I have never tried essential oil in a pure form like this before (I have used facial oils, but they always contain other things) and have found this jojoba oil exceeded my expectations. This Jojoba oil is 100% Natural & Organic.<br />
<br />
I ordered the 60ml which comes in a glass bottle that also has a dropper which comes with it but has a stopper too which is handy. I've mostly been using the dropper, but the stopper would be great for travelling around. This Jojoba oil has really helped with my skin and hair, it's made a brilliant addition into my skin care routine. I used the product every night after I take my makeup off and cleansed my skin and I've found my skin so soft when I wake up!<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
You can order it from <b><a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/B01E7L9ZNU/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=B01E7L9ZNU&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Amazon here!</span></a></b><br />

var _gaq = _gaq || [];
_gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-36083341-1']);
_gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);
(function() {
var ga = document.createElement('script'); ga.type = 'text/javascript'; ga.async = true;
ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';
var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
})();
</script>
<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
For skincare, I went with TonyMoly, Etude House, Missha and Biore. <img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjuGD60vT04uVWmRYi9yzySbPxPLcX4pG1rsfrxbJQH0RDAlrpECaXNdDyICxt17ocj-RKCQhxplM86BVFIi8Qf2PAt2qiD1htea-hW5uJuVHYuNxfIvAPrhI9oJIvVxpYNebDyF7Z5fKq5/s640/Untitled+design.png" width="800" /></div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
I bought the <b><a href="http://www.yesstyle.co.uk/en/info.html/pid.1045096523" target="_blank">Tony Moly Pomegranate sheet mask</a>,</b> <b><a href="http://www.yesstyle.co.uk/en/info.html/pid.1038863356" target="_blank">Etude House Collagen eye patch</a></b>, <a href="http://www.yesstyle.co.uk/en/info.html/pid.1046921197" target="_blank"><b>black charcoal chin patch</b></a> and the <b><a href="http://www.yesstyle.co.uk/en/info.html/pid.1048940667" target="_blank">Mishha nose pore cleaning patch.</a></b><br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
I also thought it was worth trying out the infamous Japanese brand <b><a href="http://www.yesstyle.co.uk/en/info.html/pid.1030819439" target="_blank">Biore and their nose pore strips</a>.</b><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh5BIFgrV1tQTowaWIjEGMnEGKz17tx70YQWB7npOOlOlwij_4NqoiONL547qD92CS6b0_END27SSBfBblcJw6Ghds4_XSBWm-JRPH_UXyaP6qXFILG607stZegD4Kp3wIbBsKpFGJSK1RC/s640/DSC_0611.JPG" width="800" /></div>
More to report on these when I've tried them!<br />
<br />
Lastly I really wanted to try out a few beauty bits; I've heard a lot about the <b><a href="http://www.yesstyle.co.uk/en/info.html/pid.1022414220" target="_blank">Etude House eye liners</a></b>, so had to get one of them!<br />
The <a href="http://www.yesstyle.co.uk/en/info.html/pid.1046387712" target="_blank"><b>lip cushion tint from MACQueen</b></a> also sounded really interesting - what with the recent trend over 'cushion' foundations. I've tried it twice so far and love it - it's matte but not dry and leaves a kind of moisturising film on the lips & great colour!!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEihJWZrG7xxrlf-q8o05115TBfU4DyG-lAPH_xGy6VdfAzwn-MDdpkCyhNkgt2-u04bsdfRsPZdZT71bBqOVrkvnEf0zr1qaH94hIrR28G4XeDomE3N7Iwjq_VIRMpsjMV5B_9U6iyiZdo1/s640/DSC_0615.JPG" width="800" /></div>
<br />
Lastly, the South Asian beauty market is on top form for eyelashes! So this <b>pack from <a href="http://www.yesstyle.co.uk/en/info.html/pid.1038971281" target="_blank">Litly</a></b> was a steal!<br />
<br />
Have you tried any Asian beauty brands? What would you recommend?<br />

There were so many things I wanted to try and when I saw the <a href="http://www.feelunique.com/pick-n-mix/?location%5Bbrand%5D%5B0%5D=881" target="_blank">Replica At the Beach Perfume I knew I had to try it!</a> The <a href="http://www.feelunique.com/pick-n-mix/?location%5Bbrand%5D%5B0%5D=1158#" target="_blank">Eucerin Hyaluron filler day cream </a>sounded interesting too - I love my Eucerin eye cream! The Bioderma nourishing cream, Isa Dora vitamin gloss and Miller Harris Vetivert fragrance were also products I'd wanted to try for a while.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
The Replica fragrance has been by far my favourite and I will be purchasing. Love this system! Only criticism, they need more!<br />

I'm not wanting carbs as and craving fresh tastes like limes, fruit and zesty salads. Here's a small snipped of what I've been eating:<br />
<br />
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="552.5" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhhyZcbdok42ZjNKpETPdlaUURgAF5uEIsHH8B3ihUWgVGlXGIAzMykLpuuSZDu504ac149ywV9dk45KGHoqLPichgnRfT0GGVWKtj1ZwkdtXOA95QD-d8fHvUtISDO1jnG7DF7CgAbFw_G/s640/DSC_13592.jpg" width="800" /></div>
One of my favourite things to cook as it's so easy but soooo yummy; mexican chicken and pico de gallo. Spicy, smokey chicken breast simply served with guacamole (if I have any avocados) and a tomato, onion, parsley, coriander and lime Pico de Gallo!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
</div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEisTcAhdzStDv1VnhjqJF6_IovbBlpKcnmz1LrCf_CAlSYTNY6gJaRX0gEzZtJvN_o-pY9KXN4k8VH3DSQINLWbZ1Q0I4twX-ykKib6avYUMlqx32Gghnz-m2OBSvy1lSJExt9hI2T-M-kD/s640/DSC_0007-20160701-073411335.jpg" width="800" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
Smoothie bowls for breakfast, they feel so indulgent - like ice cream - but in reality it's just a fun way to eat fruit and the cold, thick smoothie is great for cooling down on hot days. This one above is a frozen banana, frozen raspberry and cacao smoothie with strawberries and frozen berries on top!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgYfojd6qJjsxSGw_MFmy-v7bBjNimQOoQ7Z1arQinbjYN0uoV_Z08m6M0sVSPDRftTw5j2_Y5MRVjnA3wdzjwqwhxp-xc_IFEiKvlk9FdLCr0tCoJsCMzOl87TEWsjR4fUpPPgO3ploz_J/s640/DSC_0212-20160602-072713366.jpg" width="800" /></div>
This one is more of a fancy weekend breakfast / snack! Fresh figs on ricotta and macadamia toast with honey drizzled over - as simple as it sounds :)<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiBfte9tQIKEI_KnyZpYtRLlIc1itUUpfvuuj-xXNWKRXTtdbvj_blhBZdt8SyWCqUjpFb6cGJv5BFOqXjA34rblmIDLahpM3BUmOW4vdUfi4IAUALS7Phn54uKLix6D1nZYCbMMgrjgBf2/s640/DSC_0188-20160507-171748775.jpg" width="800" /></div>
Avocado on toast - a firm favourite and great for breakfast with a poached egg! And best of all, so simple and quick to make!<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="535" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj-39-l1b4_mv5Z3Lj8Jt75vmZG7c33pi-8c9BlZGc26r5ahqBcsyj5Tu-zkv-iWLnCzICTvwS0P6TFL_u46XlV7WGYBR_-nSfii258Ev8z3K_K3tYnXjOQ-7lqLs6EsHn0Bv7hCubepHZS/s640/DSC_0603.JPG" width="800" /></div>
This is one I've been having for lunch - I'm lucky enough to live / work in Cambridge where there are lots of great places to eat at lunch and especially - food trucks to eat at! This dish is from <b><a href="http://www.wanderingyak.co.uk/" target="_blank">The Wandering Yak</a></b> and so yummy! Butternut squash fritters, falafels, hummus and salad<br />

But days turned into weeks.... and here we are! Back in April / March (if forget now it was so long ago), I ago I was kindly send the Origins Maskimizer and Origins Original Rose face mask - both of which I hadn't tried before. So I very pleased to have been sent them!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpMlnzvI8ELG-SoPMYFLmjMoxGfN4AsxOu8NoGMvL8m-6A8GluSDkPcR57RIOaWNjfoHkvLSI5grnXkCEJVcCrSYySJByRSU1fD4kWERTRbcCXQmMqrseDSwR5o2cE4nbihy6FJiw0duTu/s1600/DSC_01642.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="470.8" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpMlnzvI8ELG-SoPMYFLmjMoxGfN4AsxOu8NoGMvL8m-6A8GluSDkPcR57RIOaWNjfoHkvLSI5grnXkCEJVcCrSYySJByRSU1fD4kWERTRbcCXQmMqrseDSwR5o2cE4nbihy6FJiw0duTu/s640/DSC_01642.jpg" width="704" /></a></div>
<br />
After now using them both for two months, I feel I have at least have a decent opinion on them! The Maskimizer is a bit of a funny one. I do think it works to some
extent. I can feel it making my face feel tighter when I spray it one
before applying the mask (and it smells great) but is it a bit of a
princess product.... like the Caudalie Beauty Elixir?<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpcdfu9zXQhs0kQjZ6ZquNSgrJOWI1xzDJzHp-ZM_2jTZ5RTEEOVZCWzQNpBIIzToKXesyd5MvqkgzY2RYtutvhKxHbn9SgF8_a_SYvSjR3LFv2KqWN5B8kwuM9GgFsnT69_qZl6Ne1B2m/s1600/DSC_01712.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="487.3" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjpcdfu9zXQhs0kQjZ6ZquNSgrJOWI1xzDJzHp-ZM_2jTZ5RTEEOVZCWzQNpBIIzToKXesyd5MvqkgzY2RYtutvhKxHbn9SgF8_a_SYvSjR3LFv2KqWN5B8kwuM9GgFsnT69_qZl6Ne1B2m/s640/DSC_01712.jpg" width="704" /></a></div>
As for the Original skin mask with rose clay - I loved it! The colour of the clay was (literally) rosy and the smell was amazing. Unlike some other masks, you really don't need to leave it on for long and it does the trick. Wouldn't say it's amazing or a 'miracle' product. But I am really enjoying using it about once a week!<br />
<br />
Have you tried the Origins Maskimzer or Original mask? What did you think?<br />

There are some of the things I've been enjoying lately:<br />
<h3>
Smoothie bowls</h3>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="501.6" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhz7n-KRyON5M_YkMOsyCysZOpSklvK5-Aprpe7smDHuyGYOaLgD_dVSHMHGutdRtYO4N8Jkx21fEzKE_RR5JnPfIR6-0FaQXifMJqJhryEe_pJdEsx_hzij1RS7EjsWMKmd95F57_OViFJ/s640/DSC_00152.jpg" width="768" /></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><br />
Ah, the Intsagram worthy smoothie bowls, they look sooo pretty and I've found out they taste pretty amazing too & perfect for when it's hot! Nothing better than a cool smooth bowl when it's sunny out. The top bowl is a berry and 1/2 banana based smoothie with raspberries, banana, almonds, raisins and blueberries.<br />
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="535.2" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgGBCz_isYFgW9asHBvDbcbDQySzjavCOt0PDhsaQaXy4FpTxcBeZMYO3jxnNe1RKSsZsIFQ4OwQ9xLoqSgRCtP6a7j1DRZbDA4C5bbKawL7NsIwMb-KTYcnonVOoHTE9JKsYL29MMmYbEL/s640/DSC_10162.jpg" width="768" /></div>
<br />
This smoothie bowl is a coconut and oat based smoothie - I made it a bit too runny - with frozen blackberries, blueberries, mango and some muesli. YUM<br />
<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<h3>
Smoothies</h3>
</div>
<div>
This is when I CBA to make a pretty smoothie bowl, or I need something fast and portable! This avocado, cucumber, spinach, mango, lime and banana one mixed in with some coconut milk (the drinking kind) is one of my favourites!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="499.2" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEih8SKv3__rH7TaywdxP1HTblxZNr1Go4CEyXzRqABfmIbxqqm0Jq-zTyPOnrlFCufZ82dk0xbG602WITt5XYdEzxpmoPccQgTYz_zwQsMkE7lv7Z_UKQyrDM1ogwkSElg1zfkVoVMtG6m3/s640/DSC_00892.jpg" width="768" /></div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<h3>
Eggs Florentine</h3>
</div>
<div>
This is more of an indulgent weekend / brunch type breakfast, but I love having eggs and one of my favourite is eggs Benedict or Florentine! A few weekends ago I finally mastered my own hollandaise! To make this, I poached two eggs and wilted some spinach. Then to make the Hollandaise sauce, I added melted butter to two egg yolks and cooked on a medium-low heat in a glass bowl above a pan of boiling water, continually whisking. As it thickened up I add in some vinegar.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="513.6" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjanmT9Ozr444FFZn0ivq5nx6TFm1mpSswcnJvWMuFLSJyfpcFxbuhLlH_DwWF-FUHWON6b_quq4ZW4LkTbWG0zvp_zu17HbckoTR4fJsVcrE-91chGD7VNZJiW2b2fvhuRETcWUa4Wpj4n/s640/DSC_00272.jpg" width="768" /></div>
<br />
<h3>
Shakshuka</h3>
Another weekend brunch dish. I feel like this north African dish seems to be having a bit of a moment and seems quite popular all over Instagram and Pinterest. I've loved it ever since visiting Morocco. To make mine, I simply fry finely chopped onions and peppers in paprika, black pepper, cumin and parley with crushed garlic. Then I add in chopped tomatoes, some water and tomato pur<span style="background-color: white; color: #545454; font-family: "arial" , sans-serif; font-size: x-small; line-height: 18.2px;">é</span>e. Once it's thickened up, I make little dips and crack in the eggs and lower the heat while I put a lid over.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="513.6" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiYY0GUlOybtyAYLmrU5XSFbrGBzyd1Oz1nkJEAk8ZyokiaFIvx1sCK8insXuQ5jbRBmyQhfrtXrMB135yzv_e3Ogw-1kH_seaFE2-TyItG__ytQMYhOVPRC5dhVAzt8L6_hYJPlEJ7y_x5/s640/DSC_0107.JPG" width="768" /></div>
<br />
It's great served with some bread which you can dip in the eggs :)<br />
<br />
<br />
What are you go-to breakfasts?</div>

I've now finished reading all of them so it seemed like the perfect time for a review.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="494.4" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiN0TL9XHrh1Z0-j1CTVeKBs55rKjPUJiQTvjv23cxU1wrUv0fzQfdWSlGhzNNfxZqSp5GEY2ZqorZL3-Zt2cvVIEVzRPlKG55tCmi-twGgZxJfSDSk_S2Mw4hldkX7gtDiXo0G9_V62e-8/s640/DSC_09452.jpg" width="768" /></div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a><i><u><a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0330519026/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=0330519026&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" target="_blank"><b><span style="color: #666666;">Room by Emma Donoghue</span></b></a></u></i><br />
The much anticipated movie came out recently, sparking my interest in the book (I still need to see the move). In the book, the story is told from the perspective of Jack, a five year old boy who has grown up in a room, and to him that's his entire world, along with his 'ma'. However the room itself is in fact a prison, where 'old Nick' has kept him and his mother for the past seven years after she was abducted. I love how well it's narrated as though from a five year old. I did find it a bit slow at times, but I think this was how it's meant to be read, they are in the same room for seven years after all. I believe it's based on the real life story of Elisabeth Fritzl (although I could be wrong), so of course it's quite harrowing at times! Well worth a read if you like this kind of novel, though.<br />
<b><span style="color: #666666;"><br /></span></b>
<b><i><u><a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0330519026/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=0330519026&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Hall of Small Mammals by Thomas Pierce</span></a></u></i></b><br />
I've usually steered clear of short stories, thinking they sounded boring and not sure they were for me. I love a good, meaty novel I can read for days on end! But I cam across Hall of Small Mammals and was instantly intrigued. It's described in the blurb as the confluence of the commonplace and the cosmic, the intimate and the infinite. Each has quite an abrupt ending which leaves many 'what ifs' and 'hows' but I like how it's just a small snapshot into each of the characters' lives. I think may favourite of all the short stories was in fact the first!<br />
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><i><u><a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0008124027/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=0008124027&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">The Revenant by Michael Punke</span></a></u></i></b></div>
<div>
Again, I only started googling about this book after hearing all the furor surrounding the film and Leo's long awaited Oscar win. Michael Punke based his book on the real life story of Hugh Glass a Frontiersman was attacked by a bear and left for dead. It took a while to get into and the book and the movie departed in quite a few ways but I really enjoyed both. It felt equally as horrific reading about the bear attack as it did watching it in the film. And the revenge aspect of the book is just as strong as the movie, if for a different reason. If you loved the movie and wanted to know a bit more are Hugh Glass as well as the era, I'd say give the book a go!</div>
<div>
<br />
<div>

<span id="goog_386188316"></span><span id="goog_386188317"></span><br />
<b><i><u><a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1847088724/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=1847088724&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">Undermajordomo Minor by Patrick DeWitt</span></a></u></i></b><br />
This was a bit of a Buzzfeed find after reading about in in one of their articles. The story follows Lucien Minor who is a bit of a strange one to say the least and leaves home when he get a job assisting the majordomo of the Castle Von Aux. As an undermajordomo, he soon learns about the dark secrets the castle hides. I enjoyed this book mainly for the wit and the manner in which the characters speak to one another. I read somewhere that somebody compared this novel by DeWitt to a Wed Anderson film as it has that same kind of hazy, dreamy effect. I'd have to say I agree. There were a few things I wasn't so sure about with it though, the story for one thing; it tailed off around the middle and it was hard to stay interested. It also felt like it was trying to be too clever?</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<b><i><u><a href="https://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/0571315070/ref=as_li_qf_sp_asin_il_tl?ie=UTF8&camp=1634&creative=6738&creativeASIN=0571315070&linkCode=as2&tag=althgonaweta-21" target="_blank"><span style="color: #666666;">The Buried Giant by Kazuo Ishiguro</span></a></u></i></b></div>
<div>
I LOVED Never Let Me Go, so I had very high hopes for The Buried Giant. This time the story is set in Britain, just after the Romans have left. Britons and Saxons roam Ancient Britain and it is in ruins. There is a Gothic, Arthurian, even mythological feeling to this book. It's about Axl and Beatrice and the strange amnesia that has happened to everyone, known as 'the mist'. The plot meanders a bit too much and the narration is a bit too... formal? It's not quite Never Let Me Go, but it is still a very good and interesting read!</div>
</div>

What have you been reading lately? Have you read anything from this list? What did you think?</div>

That's not to say that I hadn't been anywhere cold before when going away and visiting cities etc; but never this cold! The place I went to in Sweden, Åre, was a bit of a pain to get to but know for being one of the best Ski resorts in Sweden and also around -19°C<script type="text/javascript">

To get there, first we had to fly to Trondheim in Norway and stay there for a night before catching the train over to Sweden. I really liked Trondheim and had a bit more time to explore on my way home luckily.</div>

So over to Sweden, on the first night we stayed in a beautiful hotel in Undersaker, which is about a 10 minute drive from the main ski resort and town in Åre. The hotel was full of mason jars laid out at breakfast, reindeer pelts and candles everywhere.</div>

Back in December, I decided to give the <a href="https://www.hellofresh.co.uk/st-sem10/?c=2JFRHPEYSENFM3H3XACMEVL3&source=google&medium=cpc&campid=325202769&adgroupid=21384241689&gclid=CJDcwoeLwMsCFYu6GwodOqEIeg" target="_blank">Hello Fresh</a> box a go. I'd seen them advertised all over social media and TV and thought it sounds like a great idea but a tad pricey for my liking. So when a £25 off voucher came through the letter box I signed up to get the box next week.
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="517.8" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgLs5Zxap2l5sUYVDdIHVIoRW4BbwbCd8DW_bONxI9M6aFXhhhd42JRtXTvmuZLBLrsU3Sbzt0hiFRggOVPlEEztpZGsjefjETtwiO5snMt4puOcQvScmjHvjK1hlvXd15qe6Dk_qOxspQc/s640/DSC_07682.jpg" width="774.4" /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<a name='more'></a>In my box I chose 3 meals (for 2 people) at £39 (then added the discount!). I got mushroom and pancetta tagliatelle, beef and corn tortillas and pork and cashew stir fry, I couldn't wait to try them all.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
The recipe cards were really helpful and set out how much you need, which is exactly when comes in the box, so no waste :) If only I could make the dishes look as pretty as they do on the cards!</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="508.2" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhAirbcW6HFVTqD-hGLjhpkXHZ06n36r3F0AMiy938MYXG_8eRTNja6D6SwlJizBt7CcdvEfvJVrqy1ow6OqvdlrfolWOXWwUU66t_gUi9FgNCAT1Vf1ote2Ai_uVQNDgc-YVXNeqJDBPQg/s640/DSC_07732.jpg" width="774.4" /></div>
First up I made the Garlic, Mushroom and Pancetta tagliatelle. Which was sooo tasty, I think it could have been a little healthier, but it wasn't needed or what I was looking for, the lemon was a great addition and way to freshen the whole dish up and stock it feeling so creamy and clogging.</div>

<img border="0" height="500.9" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj8XzwZO_ymbqTDsweuZfLrExLXDx_3c-f3fY2UooPgGFvvAHJg5lI6YcVDpAnbWAA1F4PWqebaZ4W0bY0wYceLnLmVCp6FqXImK9_f4qSfmrdfnOuv-IbC0Y_OMUznOePUz_5G6ZVFHIZA/s640/DSC_07882.jpg" width="774.4" /></div>
Next I made the Pork, black bean and cashew stir fry. I loved how black bean paste came fresh and the meat was amazing quality and so tasty. I added in some extra edamame beans as I'm addicted!</div>
<div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="500.9" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiZWq1hIt5bQmiOusgN_KlT5n3se7INMbrX0uTpM6kfrKnMbZjdrOWJWv1PUzUjEl4h8S31HPD61hwc-ZZaJJQXn-IhvKeVGyFYMnXJBborfzbd0-mcFx0oQNw2z7Ks05BSzXSR7mBp7-XZ/s640/DSC_07962.jpg" width="774.4" /></div>
Last and probably my favourite as I'm a huge mexican / texmex fan; beef, sweetcorn and black bean tacos with a big dollop of creme fraiche and squirt of fresh lime!<br />
<br />
I love the idea and concept of this box, but for my it's just a tad pricey at £39 for 3 meals, as that's what we'd normally spend on meals for the week! I did find the ingredients to be of a higher quality than you'd get in your average supermarket though! Maybe one day.. when I'm earning big bucks I can get it every week!<br />
<br />
Have you tried Hello Fresh? What did you think?</div>

var _gaq = _gaq || [];
_gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-36083341-1']);
_gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);

var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
})();
</script>
<br />
<div>
My normal moisturiser just wasn't cutting it, so I felt I needed to up the game and try out some much loved skincare.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="513.6" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh6duRzeh02CmtzWKWPjgiCGZtAYGa4Yd-mOct0zc17hL63nE-mMUOs8AVgFgxUcl5eE1xmGav0ojf08xN9MfnstbVBTIoUxBo6QAuBpXZySFigu4vkpfQm1-HFTTXOnMvHNlu2t04FMgHW/s640/DSC_09712.jpg" width="768" /></div>
<div>
After browsing Look Fantastic trying to find something for my dry dry skin, I was recommended the <b><a href="http://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2082&awinaffid=294351&clickref=LF+Embryolise+Lai+Creme&p=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lookfantastic.com%2Fembryolisse-lait-creme-concentre-75ml%2F11118731.html" target="_blank">Embryolisse Lait-creme Concentre</a></b> and I'm so glad I decided to get it. At only £20 plus a 10% discount voucher it didn't seem overpriced. It has a nice smell and the creme itself is lightweight but really moisturising. I love it!<br />
<br />
Next was the <b><a href="http://www.awin1.com/cread.php?awinmid=2082&awinaffid=294351&clickref=LF+Eve+Lom&p=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.lookfantastic.com%2Feve-lom-rescue-mask-50ml%2F10363619.html" target="_blank">Eve Lom Rescue Mask</a></b> which is a bit of a cult beauty buy and one I'd heard about before. So I was keen to try it out, but at £35 for 50ml it ain't cheap!!<br />
It was different than what I expected and felt more like a clay mask with exfoliating bits, but after leaving it on for 10 mins (and sparingly applying it - that's 70p a ml!!) my skin did feel amazing.<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="508.8" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEiE5Dt5ybbuL8Uywi15sN77IFqydBR9MVherkmzg4a8SwFLYyxnzMEXYDGF99x1N3xnzJB7KogSA5LxzL-Yi8MoAQWamSIBHgtw5t8AgITxEuM8N6V5jEMH1uzzr6BZ2uYO8PdXRKsb5-H_/s640/DSC_09642.jpg" width="768" /></div>
Lastly, was this <b><a href="http://www.lookfantastic.com/avene-thermal-water-150ml/11117569.html?affil=awin&awc=2082_1473083086_e2b2aa0b1816d822f1a48d3b94d74f6c&utm_source=AWin-294351&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=AffiliateWin" target="_blank">Avene Eau Thermale Spring Water</a></b>, as my Caudalie Beauty elixir had run out and I could't justify another. So this sounded a little similar and it's cheaper and you get 5x more! I haven't had the chance to try it out yet, but I'm sure it'll be good.<br />
<br />
What new skincare items have you been trying lately? Any recommendations?<br />
<br />

Chocolate barkThis Easter I decided I wanted to make something a bit different to the normal Easter egg (note- I've never made an Easter egg!). I'd seen these chocolate barks or slabs, or whatever they're called, a lot on <a href="https://uk.pinterest.com/search/pins/?q=chocolate%20slab&rs=typed&0=chocolate%7Ctyped&1=slab%7Ctyped" target="_blank">Pinterest</a> and they looked so pretty.<script type="text/javascript">

<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">

<div>
<a name='more'></a></div>
<div>
For mine I decided to make a fruit and nut chocolate slab - but a really nice, fancy fruit and nut. More than your average Cadburys Dairy Milk Fruit and Nut with some raisins and hazelnuts in. </div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="513.6" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhPP7mxs2I_pJ_EzbL00qPdijYPx4elApI5TDWW4sMJUTzgrTurZyyommRuPJh5i6TcTyI2ah7oEJYoExqEDwU61WwN2RujdxZjwb5SBQkNHoPB2HKcKjqtDcXGPisdF8DY5lWmmRFJ9E5M/s640/DSC_01272.jpg" width="768" /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
My slab /bark had brazil nuts, walnuts, macadamia nuts and cashews. Along with dried fruit including raisins, sultanas, goji berries and dried cherries. It pretty easy to make, for mine, I melted 200g milk chocolate before adding in some crushed nuts and dried fruit - I saved about a third.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="511.2" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjsi2mtZY3wEzMZQco37ZgIDfjnzja6ozNmHRGQuBrBu8W1-ESlYShL5NNwG56bzaf3TwoCMVlbYtZL5yU_mrx-pxQ33Jfr6XDuUNL47rqKNpYV9RI8AkJH0rJgQlTuSEb9Cu0fXjo4K11K/s640/DSC_01302.jpg" width="768" /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I poured mine on some very lightly buttered baking paper and a very rough mould which I'm made from putting extra thing in the baking tin!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<img border="0" height="520.8" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjo41rcevuMNcoliy-Jnf9C1fKy9xgtqWJlt6CRLopBwE3T1k8IldGSDj0SEbIetb_Pk6L6dXbbxUTzcqLqrMO-9kNrO5oT_kH7jJMTxQPjgUa3V1Pvdn8fGHei7ukvulwR-0FXd-wYx4h2/s640/DSC_01202.jpg" width="768" /></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Once the mixture had solidified a bit I sprinkled on the third of nuts and fruit I'd saved for decoration and swirled in a small amount of white chocolate. Then I set in the fridge!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Have you made chocolate bark or chocolate slab before? I'd love to try more adventurous flavours next time!<br />

Hopefully noone finds them bragging or vulgar - I think they're fun! I'm sharing just a few beauty and home bits that I got for Christmas and my Birthday as they're only 3 days apart. <script type="text/javascript">

First up, I got the ever so stereotypical 'blogger' candle. But I can't help it - it was copper and smelt nice. All the important things right? This one is from <a href="http://www.anthropologie.com/" target="_blank">Anthropologie </a>-- <a href="http://www.anthropologie.com/uk/en/product/home-candles/7552600810021.jsp#/" target="_blank">Similar here</a></div>

<div>
Next from my lovely friend *STOP READING THIS KIM, I KNOW YOU DO*. I got a copper terrarium. As she knows my love of copper and these are so pretty at the moment. I'm still deciding what to put in it!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

Lastly, and kind of the star of the show as they were by far the most expensive / extravagant things were these <a href="https://www.hakuhodousa.com/" target="_blank">Hakuhodo </a>make up brushes. I got mainly from the J and G ranges.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">

As promised, following my beauty gift guide, it's my home and accessories guide. I'd love pretty much all these pieces & as you can see there's a bit of a copper / rose gold theme running through!</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: center;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSGL2ShuJvAAjbnnp3UGwaFsxE4JjQWmjAUyg7QeTOLdYS16MaBiT9lPGncVtV13Med9NGlNrphWTH5Hym3_ZG7rQdJg6tYrRHu9NxhLT7SO93gn9jS2x5mZMROrHgFgskopVUY7nLfVNM/s1600/Untitled-2.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="437.8" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhSGL2ShuJvAAjbnnp3UGwaFsxE4JjQWmjAUyg7QeTOLdYS16MaBiT9lPGncVtV13Med9NGlNrphWTH5Hym3_ZG7rQdJg6tYrRHu9NxhLT7SO93gn9jS2x5mZMROrHgFgskopVUY7nLfVNM/s640/Untitled-2.jpg" width="704" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
<br />
<a name='more'></a>First up, this <a href="https://www.oliverbonas.com/homeware/wire-recipe-stand-29473" target="_blank">beautiful copper recipe book stand from Oliver Bonas for £22</a>. If you know someone who likes cooking and find they're often propping up recipe books, (and have a thing for copper as I do) then this could be a great gift!<br />
<br />
Next, the priciest item on here (and any gift guide presumably), is this <a href="https://www.etsy.com/uk/listing/243279399/rose-gold-and-white-topaz-twist-ring?ga_order=most_relevant&ga_search_type=all&ga_view_type=gallery&ga_search_query=rose%20gold%20ring&ref=sr_gallery_40" target="_blank">rose gold and white topaz twisted ring from Etsy for £185</a>. I love rose gold and this ring is sooooo pretty. Anyone else think so?<br />
<br />
H&M home is a favourite of mine, and this cosy, chunky kit blanket in grey is a sure winner for most home decor styles. It's <a href="http://www.hm.com/gb/product/25217?article=25217-C" target="_blank">part wool and a bargain at £39.99</a>.<br />
<br />
The next piece was taken from <a href="https://www.pinterest.com/fleurdeforce/" target="_blank">Fleur de Force's brilliant Pinterest</a> boards. I saw this and thought I had to have it! This <a href="http://www.habitat.co.uk/trunk-blue-metal-storage-trunk-149061?_$ja=tsid:34981|prd:136348&source=aw&affid=136348&utm_source=awin&utm_medium=affiliate&utm_campaign=136348&awc=2807_1448485282_f2d4a5279821d3f5f989d5b073cd95c6" target="_blank">metal storage trunk from Habitat,</a> is the perfect storage solution. I'd love it, and it's £50.<br />
<br />
Another piece from <a href="http://www.hm.com/gb/product/37915?article=37915-C" target="_blank">H&M is this vintage looking glass jar for £6.99</a>. I think it would look great with beauty bits and bobs in.<br />
<br />
I love this beautiful metal mirror from <a href="http://www.zarahome.com/gb/en/decoration/mirrors-c1089523p5948844.html" target="_blank">Zara home</a>, I think it would look perfect on a dressing table - especially with the glass jar!<br />
<br />
I thought these beautiful, timeless <a href="http://www.stories.com/gb/Accessories/Gloves/Cut-Out_Gloves/582822-107849502.1" target="_blank">leather gloves from & Other Stories</a> would always be a winner. They're a 'driving' style of glove with a cut-out and come in at £45.<br />
<br />
Last one now and this piece is another pricey item, but they're amazing all the same! Rose gold Taylor headphones from <a href="https://www.shopbop.com/taylor-friends-benefits-headphones-frends/vp/v=1/1528562202.htm?currencyCode=GBP&extid=SE_froogle_SC_uk&cvosrc=cse.google.FREND30000&cvo_campaign=SB_Google_GBP&s_kwcid=AL!3510!3!{creative}!{matchtype}!{placement}!{network}!!{keyword}&ef_id=VkhxHwAABZTaqk1K:20151125212556:s" target="_blank">Frends come in at £134</a> (on some other sites they're around £160-180). They are definitely a luxury item, but lovely!<br />
<br />

What homeware piece or accessories would you put on your wishlist for Christmas?<br />

I find my skin (and lips) are worse than ever. And my summer moisturiser just isn't cutting it any more!<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdM5Js2tu74wHFLpQDYhK_zTQPnihsP3zSf5aLd09l6bbnlCCmD_fnvpAU9ADPlpBr2T0FO4EYXsEkaQcanAE42KKe4lIDfFTSOPx9GnsPv1olmqLJDuu42-uTBt7f_wGCsOslkBFmUK14/s1600/DSC_07192.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="426" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgdM5Js2tu74wHFLpQDYhK_zTQPnihsP3zSf5aLd09l6bbnlCCmD_fnvpAU9ADPlpBr2T0FO4EYXsEkaQcanAE42KKe4lIDfFTSOPx9GnsPv1olmqLJDuu42-uTBt7f_wGCsOslkBFmUK14/s640/DSC_07192.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
<a name='more'></a>So, I've recently got a few new things to try and help. These are my bedside table essentials.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9nmJgTjiK8HeHuoo3pee3v5CY1nXtIGRh17Gpz3LmLkg2mWA1q3KzIuGDSDeE1GyaNf9jjNhcr91jxkCXMtbic-OnDTQzFjN-xiuJh5kBarmZoRrIecMCOefIH0s8YK5rvFI4_HrClSKY/s1600/DSC_07202.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="428" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEj9nmJgTjiK8HeHuoo3pee3v5CY1nXtIGRh17Gpz3LmLkg2mWA1q3KzIuGDSDeE1GyaNf9jjNhcr91jxkCXMtbic-OnDTQzFjN-xiuJh5kBarmZoRrIecMCOefIH0s8YK5rvFI4_HrClSKY/s640/DSC_07202.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
This <a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/InstaNatural-Dead-Sea-Facial-Mask/dp/B00OPCHAB6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1447971695&sr=8-2&keywords=dead+sea+mud+mask" target="_blank">dead sea mud mask</a>* from InstaNatural has been doing wonders for my dry skin. It's a skin cleanser, pore reducer and moisturiser in one. I've been using is as both a cleanser and a mask and I've been loving it. </div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyAfM_qdeuXrfzSnJ0maAtw9mLiqTRS8ZloLgkP8tSfmqEZFRdmNLZGgubWzc890Dhx8o53W6eeIXRjQVEVk24Mq8YlLOZqC7zkl_4QwAf8dErF08bCZ2w7rWqHqp7VbnmXkiwhL9Tr9Gf/s1600/DSC_07222.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="428" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEhyAfM_qdeuXrfzSnJ0maAtw9mLiqTRS8ZloLgkP8tSfmqEZFRdmNLZGgubWzc890Dhx8o53W6eeIXRjQVEVk24Mq8YlLOZqC7zkl_4QwAf8dErF08bCZ2w7rWqHqp7VbnmXkiwhL9Tr9Gf/s640/DSC_07222.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
I hadn't tried this <a href="http://www.amazon.co.uk/InstaNatural-Dead-Sea-Facial-Mask/dp/B00OPCHAB6/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1447971695&sr=8-2&keywords=dead+sea+mud+mask" target="_blank">Antipodes Rejoice light day cream</a> before. But I love it!</div>
<div>
The smell and the thickness surprised me - going by the name I thought it would be much lighter. But it's great for winter skin.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_DbFhk-3C2MJAzorK2HJ4M1LOPsnxO5ZJSiOBXjuikk8ZriG3c1s_XL-E-kOPOHblhyphenhyphenLoIJiPj0lqixrpLuKchUUEMymnZnsIge1nrA_HaaJmT0g-UzMhM46WLg9Z9mmVmKrJeCcWRgkA/s1600/DSC_07232.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="428" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEg_DbFhk-3C2MJAzorK2HJ4M1LOPsnxO5ZJSiOBXjuikk8ZriG3c1s_XL-E-kOPOHblhyphenhyphenLoIJiPj0lqixrpLuKchUUEMymnZnsIge1nrA_HaaJmT0g-UzMhM46WLg9Z9mmVmKrJeCcWRgkA/s640/DSC_07232.jpg" width="640" /></a></div>
<div>
Lastly, I've heard so much about the <a href="http://www.lookfantastic.com/dr.-lipp-original-nipple-balm-for-lips/10804751.html" target="_blank">Dr. Lipp Nipple balm for lips</a> that I thought I'd finally take the plunge and buy it. I like it - it's great for lips - the only downside is it's not as long lasting as I thought it would be. Not compared to my <a href="http://uk.spacenk.com/en_GB/reve-de-miel-lip-balm/MUK200004892.html" target="_blank">Nuxe Reve de Miel</a>, anyway. That lasts all day.</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
I bought the latter two things from Look Fantastic, which have a discount code on at the moment if you're thinking of getting anything! Save 15% with LF15</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
What have you been loving for winter? Any recommendations?</div>

var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
})();
</script>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1m_KcpZDfQivQi7B2UbKpPBo1X-b1eU3ny9kyUxoHtO1lzILjTnCUszQstIwNBu0TccOek_11BPTz-gQG3QG69-fWtXXK3RPdnFs_ukO_BUjoaouspcFNdzuLfV7-APQrHLRbKYk8qCIx/s1600/DSC_06682.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="479.6" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEh1m_KcpZDfQivQi7B2UbKpPBo1X-b1eU3ny9kyUxoHtO1lzILjTnCUszQstIwNBu0TccOek_11BPTz-gQG3QG69-fWtXXK3RPdnFs_ukO_BUjoaouspcFNdzuLfV7-APQrHLRbKYk8qCIx/s640/DSC_06682.jpg" width="704" /></a></div>
<div>
<a name='more'></a>So, the ingredients that I used were:</div>
<div>
About half a chopped and deseeded pumpkin,</div>
<div>
1/2 a red onion,</div>
<div>
1/2 a large sweet potato</div>
<div>
1 tin of coconut milk</div>
<div>
1/2 a red pepper</div>
<div>
4 cloves of garlic </div>
<div>
2 deseeded chillies</div>
<div>
Herbs: coriander, thyme, ginger, cumin, paprika, seasoning + 1/2 a stock cube</div>
<div>
All these ingredients are interchangeable with whatever you'd prefer.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0kw9vq_QyC1Uydd2GEqgK9Khqu0kE2iJhTmz2dTrsEvnAwGI__9Y2lp7ZnpjHLDrG_gOaV2T_RnPbPtJVLaRZPGJqhq0Vr8QvrfuX07snU7oLJ4FcfuOz8o3UDWKZO9Ak2JeGuxa9eHQE/s1600/DSC_06902.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="470.8" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEi0kw9vq_QyC1Uydd2GEqgK9Khqu0kE2iJhTmz2dTrsEvnAwGI__9Y2lp7ZnpjHLDrG_gOaV2T_RnPbPtJVLaRZPGJqhq0Vr8QvrfuX07snU7oLJ4FcfuOz8o3UDWKZO9Ak2JeGuxa9eHQE/s640/DSC_06902.jpg" width="704" /></a></div>
<div>
To start, I covered the pumpkin in olive oil and spices and roasted for about 30 mins, until the pieces were soft.</div>
<div>
While these were roasting, chop the other veg ingredients and fry in a saucepan for about 10 mins.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEga_Yexh7zOk9VmwAXbcS4wQGwjIw7jL4-lRoeHdK1S4wSsaWAYLO170gDCGjwV8cm3CRKGSu-CHL1PaRxS405rpPKz3b2nt3kshjKuL5OJ1bxAUwd1HAA_GyLOrN2wmzZxdQzibuxmfzwC/s1600/DSC_06832.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="470.8" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEga_Yexh7zOk9VmwAXbcS4wQGwjIw7jL4-lRoeHdK1S4wSsaWAYLO170gDCGjwV8cm3CRKGSu-CHL1PaRxS405rpPKz3b2nt3kshjKuL5OJ1bxAUwd1HAA_GyLOrN2wmzZxdQzibuxmfzwC/s640/DSC_06832.jpg" width="704" /></a></div>
<div>
Then add in the chopped pumpkin, add in any other spices to taste and add the 1/2 stock cube and enough hot water to cover about 70%.</div>
<div>
Simmer this for another 5 mins on a high heat, add in the coconut milk and change to a low heat for 15 minutes.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkPZ3sdS9sNpLwb5h-bfaIIuXukhtMnHbA4UUA5spFTpcMVXSOorStLnr4hLVHiY6BJQ_bq4Ng4qUAhKCyl-X7jop-FM9yHYdfbeN_gGpT2B245jigvZqKIA9V563lC0TxilVcJEsjloH0/s1600/DSC_06912.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="492.8" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgkPZ3sdS9sNpLwb5h-bfaIIuXukhtMnHbA4UUA5spFTpcMVXSOorStLnr4hLVHiY6BJQ_bq4Ng4qUAhKCyl-X7jop-FM9yHYdfbeN_gGpT2B245jigvZqKIA9V563lC0TxilVcJEsjloH0/s640/DSC_06912.jpg" width="704" /></a></div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Then blend - voila! While I was roasting my pumpkin, I also decided to roast the seeds with coriander. YUM</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Have you tried any new recipes lately?</div>

And when I was recently asked by <a href="http://www.etailpr.com/" target="_blank">Etail Pr</a> if I'd like to feature some pieces on here - of course I said YES<script type="text/javascript">
var _gaq = _gaq || [];
_gaq.push(['_setAccount', 'UA-36083341-1']);
_gaq.push(['_trackPageview']);
(function() {

ga.src = ('https:' == document.location.protocol ? 'https://ssl' : 'http://www') + '.google-analytics.com/ga.js';
var s = document.getElementsByTagName('script')[0]; s.parentNode.insertBefore(ga, s);
})();
</script>
<br />
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgORRWeuQDCudA7X4jcALz-UQQz0754cHOsfqF5MNc2yNg9_KnRx-PrpU2X1dLzfUED8-a2Z2_ErWvgfVWrMsefuDnR9PCCq_S4TtGieGM8b67LvMC6Jtl5pcmSO3pdCdV77YO-sd-MnqPD/s1600/DSC_05981.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="433.4" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEgORRWeuQDCudA7X4jcALz-UQQz0754cHOsfqF5MNc2yNg9_KnRx-PrpU2X1dLzfUED8-a2Z2_ErWvgfVWrMsefuDnR9PCCq_S4TtGieGM8b67LvMC6Jtl5pcmSO3pdCdV77YO-sd-MnqPD/s640/DSC_05981.jpg" width="702" /></a></div>
<div>
<a name='more'></a>I love the simplistic, elegant designs that you get with Orelia Jewellery, (especially the pieces I chose if I say so myself!). It makes all their pieces really wearable, day or night. I love how they were packaged too, with a sweet ribbon and delicate tissue paper.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeytLelFWaNodh0kapUFKPLuYy2ZX9MoqTWAOOuw8OCyqZ-X4wgpYZfI5IAVo-eNHnGh81dukD8KXTOzqajBelik0NMJ452djcI3REBwRmr2dRaAA8q96OEiXTaQdKrtE3Fsq2FSkkcQaq/s1600/DSC_06071.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="470.8" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjeytLelFWaNodh0kapUFKPLuYy2ZX9MoqTWAOOuw8OCyqZ-X4wgpYZfI5IAVo-eNHnGh81dukD8KXTOzqajBelik0NMJ452djcI3REBwRmr2dRaAA8q96OEiXTaQdKrtE3Fsq2FSkkcQaq/s640/DSC_06071.jpg" width="702" /></a></div>
<div>
I opted for 3 gold pieces as I normally choose rose gold or silver. The first piece I chose was this pretty gold colour <a href="http://www.orelia.co.uk/love-knot-ditsy-necklace.html" target="_blank">Love Knot Ditsy Necklace</a>. I don't normally buy or wear necklaces so this was a bit different for me, but I loved how delicate it was and how it would go with so many things!</div>

I picked the next piece as I felt it was made or me.. I have a thing for swallows (<a href="http://daniella-r.blogspot.co.uk/2012/08/life-update.html" target="_blank">see this tattoo post from a few years ago</a>) so when I saw this dainty <a href="http://www.orelia.co.uk/open-swallow-ring.html" target="_blank">Open Swallow Ring</a>, I knew I had to have it! It's gold coloured too, and the size can be changed slightly, as it's open.</div>
<div class="separator" style="clear: both; text-align: left;">
<a href="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs-OA7cqcs9UAd7VRhDv-OjB9PnnACbHudEt6Aa66g5m9IxQcFCQlbhfs9W1faXxmFUhuMs35S7JcxRMtjaAnA_Pc6jWSWXKoYQYI6LwvOnOyrCdLqvGvtAPBLzelf21mC3ji84S0aHlcr/s1600/DSC_06012.jpg" imageanchor="1" style="margin-left: 1em; margin-right: 1em;"><img border="0" height="470.8" src="https://blogger.googleusercontent.com/img/b/R29vZ2xl/AVvXsEjs-OA7cqcs9UAd7VRhDv-OjB9PnnACbHudEt6Aa66g5m9IxQcFCQlbhfs9W1faXxmFUhuMs35S7JcxRMtjaAnA_Pc6jWSWXKoYQYI6LwvOnOyrCdLqvGvtAPBLzelf21mC3ji84S0aHlcr/s640/DSC_06012.jpg" width="702" /></a></div>
<div>
Lastly to finish off, I thought these gold coloured <a href="http://www.orelia.co.uk/mini-open-circle-stud.html" target="_blank">Mini Open Circle Stud</a> earrings, would look great with the other two pieces or on their own!</div>
<div>
<br /></div>
<div>
Let me know what you think of the bits I picked? Have you bought any pieces from Orelia Jewellery? As well as online, they're on Topshop and Asos!</div>

It arrived in a beautiful box and contained three variations of the scent, an Eau de Toilette, and Eau de Parfum and an Intense Parfum.</div>

I'm in the same opinion as Cate. I do find scent very evocative when it comes to bringing a memory. These scents have notes from Cassis Nectar, dark fruit and Vanilla, with fresh-cut freesia and rich rose de mai. It is completed by an addictive, melting base of patchouli, creamy amber wood and luminous orcanox. While the Intense Parfum is more sweet, it develops into a deep, heady smell.<br />

Which I definitely agree with! At first smell (of the Intense Parfum), I can't say I was the biggest fan of the scent - it was very sickly sweet. But after an hour of it sitting on my skin, it settled into a subtle, sweet musky smell. I loved it!<br />
<br />

<br />
Have you tried this scent, or another from Giorgio Armani? Before this, I'd tried Armani Code.</div>
