Anyway, I wasn't into the hype of the Paralympics as much as the Olympics but though I should see the park, as I'll never see it like that ever again; The day was sooo hot, and so many people were there. The Megastore stressed me out (it was an effort working your way around people (even the keyring stand was 4 man deep!) and all food and drink was over priced. But hey ho, rant over! The Javellin train from Kings Cross to Stratford International was a dream though!
And we saw most things in the park such as the Orbit, Stadium and the Coca Cola beat box on Britannia Row.
Our tickets were to see the 7 a-side football in the Riverbank arena. The players, I learned, were classified from C5-C8 which encompasses co-ordination difficulties and ranges from things like Cerebral Palsy to less severe brain problems. We saw Brazil against The United Federation of Russia.
I'm glad I went. I still wish I could have seen Bolt though! Or the opening ceremony for the Olympics but beggars can't be choosers- literally in this case!Have any of you been or are you going tomorrow? Did you like the Olympic park or find it a bit hard to walk around like moany old me?
