2 or 3 handfuls of Pitted dates, whichever type you like
2 tbsps ofCacao/cocoa powder
2 tbp of Dessicated coconut (plus more for coating)
1 tsp Almond/ cashew or even peanut butter
1-2 tbsp Ground almonds
A squeeze ofAgave nectar or honey if you don't have this
2-3 tbsp Almond milk
Optional extras: Nuts- pistachios, walnuts etc. I'm using hazlenuts, Goji berries, Chia seeds, Cacao nibs, Protein powder - I'm using my Slender blend vanilla mix
First use whatever food processor type thing you have to blend the dates, berries and nuts, and add a little bit of almond milk. All I had was the extra pot/blade bit to my hand blender so that had to do!
And it should look a little bit like this, lovely colour isn't it?
Then decant into a mixing bowl, with the everything else, so that's the cocoa power, coconut, ground almond, agave nectar and almond butter. Then I also added chia seeds and protein powder. mix it all together and put in the fridge for a few hours (it makes them easier to roll!).
Then coat them in whatever you want, I did coconut and cocoa power for mine. And they should look a bit like these. Then just keep in an airtightconcealer(ah make up on the brain) container in the fridge and they should last about 5-7 days.
Let me know what you think and if you tried them? Would love to know if you have any recommendations or variations!
