Louise Gray for Topshop

Last week, Topshop bought out their newest collaboration- with Louise Gray. 'One of the most vibrant and innovative designers to grace the London fashion scene... Think Bold, think bright, think imaginative beyond belief', are what Topshop describes Louise Gray as. Which I would say is quite fair. I was only ably to afford items from the make up collection, unfortunately, as the clothes priced at £130 plus were a bit out of my price range! The lipsticks weren't really my sort of colour so I plumped for two of the polishes; Pinch Punch & Junk Yard.

Something a bit different.... Soup

Pea and Mint soup to be exact. I've been wanting to include recipes/ food posts on the blog for a while now, but just haven't got around to it. But today that has changed!
I love pea and mint soup for 3 reasons; 1) it's relatively cheap to make 2) It's really quick and easy to make and 3) it has no 'carbs' or anything like that in and you can easily add other ingredients if you want to. (4- it tastes nice!)
All you need is: A bag of frozen (not tinned!) Garden peas, A bunch of fresh mint, 1 chopped onion, a swig of olive oil, some other herbs such as basil/ oregano and salt/pepper to season, 1-2 jugs of stock (stock cube+water) and 1 clove of garlic.

Travel destinations: Copenhagen

I was there only last weekend, and I really really like it. I've been going regularly- although not the past 5 or so years- since I was a child as some of my family are in Malmö, and Copenhagen is only a short train ride away.
It is expensive, like most of Scandinavia, but like most places if you know where not to go, it doesn't seem so bad. The currency is Danish Krone and roughly is DKK 9.5 to £1.

Addicted to.. 'Man vs. food'

I have recently become addicted to a tv show, from the USA travel channel (but aired in the UK on Dave) called Man vs. food, presented by actor and food critic Adam Richman:

Life update: tattoo

Right so those of you who have been reading this blog for a while, might remember about two months ago I wrote a post about tattoos (Right here) and how much I wanted one and I included all those that gave me inspiration...
Well about three weeks ago I actually went and got one. This isn't a boasting or bragging kind of thing, I just thought it might be interesting for to some of you. I love reading about other people's tattoo and seeing them.

Mine is on my left foot, and it's a swallow which I came up with myself and then the tattooist resized it. It's just black and shaded with the tiniest amount of white; I'm really like it. It's nearly all healed so I thought I'd show you.

Travel Destinations: Sydney

Sydney is probably the most famous city in Australia, often mistaken for the capital. It's on the east coast, in New South Wales, home to approx 4.6 million and the site of the first British colony. It's considered by other Australians as the hedonistic party city. The currency is Australian dollars.

Not another.. Beauty Box post?

Hey guys, this weeks been a bit busier than others. I've decided to get fit(finally!), so am contemplating joining a gym that I've visited with my friend twice. I've also been busy applying for quite a few jobs as I'm poor! And yesterday I was in London, soaking up the Olympics atmosphere. Our group of friends were hanging out in Kings Cross (not the station!) all day, and found ourselves at the Big Chill house and on the Roof Terrace, it was lovely.
Ok enough rambles; I got my August Shesaidbeauty box on Tuesday, which was still July? So very early! It was hit and miss, some things I really loved and was happy to receive, and one I really didn't get why it was included?
