NARS- At first Sight

This limited edition eye and cheek palette caught my eye when I was browsing the Asos site, cue a 20% student discount, and I decided I had to get it (on the Nars site it's selling for £45, but Asos are selling it for £32!)
It comes in the classic black Nars packaging which has a kind of rubbery feel on the outside, and it's the perfect size to carry around, not too big, but not too small that you feeling you're being ripped off!
It has four eye shadows, the infamous Laguna bronzer and the Deep Throat blush. To me it had everything I wanted: Deep Throat is my favourite blush of all time, I've always wanted to try the Laguna bronzer and I really liked the four eye shadows. They are, from clockwise All about Eve (beige colour), Nouveau Monde (lilac shimmer), Cordura (dark brown shimmer) and Bellissima (brown/grey slighty matte colour).
The eye shadows weren't the most amazing for staying power but with a primer underneath they lasted quite a few hours, so that's good enough for me. And if it means carting around less as my blush and bronzer is there too, well that a winner as well.  I was also surprised by how much I liked the lilac shadow, mized in subtly with the brown, it was really nice!
Would definitely recommend this to anybody who wants to try Nars products, or someone like me who like the blush and bronzer and wants less to carry with some decent eye shadows!

Does anyone else have this palette or another Nars palette? What do you think?

Wishy List Autumnal clothes

Now that it's getting so much colder as Autumn gets in full swing, there have been so many new pieces that I've been wanting. I think I prefer autumn fashion to any other season. So without rambling too much below are some essentials I've picked out (and some I've bought already!).

1) Stripe tee £20 - Topshop,  2) Reefer Jacket £39.99 -H&M,  3) Tartan dress £18 -Boohoo,  4) Leather skirt £59.99 - Zara,  5) Cut out boots (sold out similar here) £29 - Dorothy Perkins,  6) Black Aztec cardigan £27.99 - NewLook
I really love all these, especially the boots which I already bought last week. I think tartan will always be an autumn staple and I love this slightly different green smock dress. The cardigan- I'm really liking the pattern and it looks warm and cosy. The skirt and top would look amazing together or styled in lots of outfits. I think this leather skirt will look great in any outfit this a/w!

What are your top pieces for autumn?

Travel destinations: Phuket & Koh Phi Phi

Recently I got back from a trip to Thailand and thought it was about time I did another 'travel destinations' post. I've been to Thailand before, a few years ago for a few days, this time the trip was for 13 days. We went to Phuket and Koh Phi Phi.
We went in what is considered the low [tourist] season, as it's monsoon time over there, but to be honest we were really lucky with the weather, it was monsoon the day we arrived and a few days of cloud here and there, but otherwise lovely and sunny! Theiir currency is Thai Baht and is around £1=45 THB. They speak Thai, but many will know some English (probably from all the tourists!
In Phuket, we stayed in the most popular tourist town, Patong. Which in hindsight was a bit of a mistake; Patong is very noisy, busy and for lack of a better word: brash. The market (and shop sellers) will stop at nothing to get your attention, you'll be offered a Tuk Tuk every few steps and watch the traffic- it's 3-7 people a moped there!
