Night time Origins

For Christmas I received 2 origins products that I had really wanted for quite some time. I'd read a lot of reviews on various blogs about them, and now that I've been using them for about 6 weeks I thought I'd throw in my two cents too! The two I go are both 'night time' products, a mask and a cream.

The Origins Drink Up Intensive overnight mask (priced at £20) is a mask that sinks in (it felt more like a thick moisturiser that sits on the skin for a while- to me) overnight so that you wake up with brighter, hydrated skin. It smells so nice and reminded me of a kind of grapefruity scent. And it works really well, my skins not particularly dry but over winter it was pretty dry in patches. This helps so much and is one of the best products I've used, so good that I don't need to moisturise my skin the morning after using it. Will definitely be repurchasing.
Next up I've been using the High-Potency Night-A-Mins mineral enriched renewal cream (what a mouthful!) priced at £33,which is also for use in the 'night time' as the name would suggest. But this is more a night cream than a mask and contains a lot of vitamins and minerals to make your skin more hydrated and get rid of  dullness.
I really like this product too but at £33 it is a bit more pricey than the mask, I do think it will last a long time though as it is sooo thick- the photo above was taken only a week ago and I've hardly made a dent in it. I tend to alternate using this and the drink up intensive mask, I think both together may be a tad oily! I use each about 1-2 times a week, and my skin feels amazing after using each.

Thanks for reading! What do you think of these two Origins products  have you tried them? Or do you have other favourite you could recommend?

  3. The Origins products look rather expensive, but the mask sounds very appealing - probably something I would have to buy on pay day! I've never tried anything by Origins, but as this is the third review I've seen on it recently, I'm going to have to try it out at some point! :D

    1. I think it should be fine for oily skins tbh as mine can get quite oily, but as its a night time mask, the idea is it's absorbed during the night so it shouldn't still be 'sitting' on the skin in the morning

  12. They sound very good but are pricey, I currently use Avon face masks one or twice a week which does keep my skin far less oily :)
